Calenkli
Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
1. What is always prohibited
You may not use Calenkli accounts, booking pages, or emails sent through the service for:
- any activity that is illegal under applicable law;
- phishing, malware distribution, or links designed to deceive visitors about who they are booking with;
- harassment, threats, or incitement to violence or hatred;
- impersonating another person or organization, or misrepresenting your affiliation with one;
- fraud, scams, or the sale of illegal goods and services;
- any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors.
2. Prohibited behaviour
Even when the underlying content is lawful, you may not:
- create bookings, accounts, or requests in bulk, whether manually or with automation, to spam a host or to degrade the service;
- circumvent rate limits, anti-double-booking protections, or any other security measure;
- scrape or harvest personal data from booking pages or confirmation emails;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without our prior written authorization;
- resell or white-label the service without an agreement.
3. How we enforce
We rely on technical safeguards (rate limiting, abuse detection), on our own monitoring, and on reports from users. Depending on severity, enforcement ranges from removing a piece of content to suspending or terminating the account. In urgent cases — ongoing fraud, phishing, or harm to others — we act first and notify the account holder afterwards.
4. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement decision is mistaken, reply to the notification email or write to [email protected] within 14 days. A human reviews every appeal.
5. Reporting abuse
To report a booking page or an email that violates this policy, contact [email protected]. Include the page URL and a short description; we review every report.
