1. What cookies we use
Calenkli only sets cookies that are strictly necessary for the service or that remember your choices, so they do not require your consent. The session cookie keeps you signed in; others remember the language and theme you picked and, on the booking page of a host who added advertising measurement tools, your answer to the consent window (see section 2). Our support chat widget, provided by Muro (muro.chat), may additionally store functional identifiers (cookies or local storage) so your conversation history is kept between visits.

2. Hosts' measurement tools
A host can save a Meta Pixel, Google Analytics 4 or Google Tag Manager ID for their public booking pages. On those pages only (including when they are embedded on the host's website), these tools may then load on the host's behalf; the host uses them to measure their ads and show you targeted ads. They send information about your visit (page viewed, IP address, device type) to Meta or Google. They never load on Calenkli's other pages.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or if your country cannot be determined: a window asks for your consent. Nothing loads until you click “Accept”. “Decline” is just as easy, and you can book either way.
- Elsewhere: these tools load directly, without a window.
- Everywhere: they never load if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
Once loaded, these tools may set the following cookies on your device (default durations published by Meta and Google):

Google Tag Manager can also load other tools chosen by the host, with their own cookies. Meta and Google may also use their own cookies, for example if you are signed in to Facebook or Google, and process this data under their own privacy policies. Calenkli does not receive the data these tools send to Meta and Google.
Your answer is kept on your device for 6 months, separately for each host: in the calenkli_pxc_… cookie (written by our server) and in your browser's local storage. The window asks again after that, or if the host changes their tools. When the page is embedded on the host's website, some browsers, such as Safari, block this cookie or clear this storage sooner: the window may then come back.
To withdraw your consent, click “Ad preferences” at the bottom of the booking page, then “Decline”: the cookies these tools set on Calenkli are deleted and the page reloads without them. Outside Europe, you can refuse them by turning on the GPC signal or by blocking these cookies in your browser settings.
3. What we do not use
For its own purposes, Calenkli sets no advertising cookies or third-party analytics, and does not share browsing data with advertising networks or social platforms. The only third-party components are the Muro support chat widget (section 1) and, on the booking pages of hosts who added them, the measurement tools described in section 2.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in to your Calenkli account. For any question, contact us at [email protected].
