How to schedule a meeting in Zoom

Zoom lets you schedule a meeting in advance and share the join details, from the desktop app or the web portal.

  1. Open Zoom and click Schedule

In the Zoom desktop app, click the Schedule icon on the home tab (or Meetings → Schedule a Meeting on zoom.us).

  2. Set the details

Add a topic, date, start time and duration. Choose your video, audio and security options (waiting room, passcode).

  3. Pick a calendar

Under Calendar, choose Google Calendar, Outlook or iCal so the meeting is added there and you can invite people.

  4. Save

Click Save. Zoom generates the join link; copy the invitation and send it, or let your calendar send the invite.

The faster way: share a link, not a time

Every method above has the same gap — you still have to agree the time first. Flip it: instead of proposing slots, share a Calenkli booking link. The other person picks an open slot from your real availability, shown in their own time zone, and the meeting (with a Zoom link) is created automatically.

Stop scheduling by email. Calenkli turns your calendar into a booking link people can use in one click — free, with reminders that cut no-shows.

Frequently asked questions

How do I let people book a Zoom call with me automatically?

Connect Zoom to a booking tool. With Calenkli, set an event to use Zoom and every booking creates the Zoom meeting automatically — the invitee just picks a slot and gets the link.

Turn time into booked meetings

Calenkli gives you a free booking link: people pick a slot in their own timezone, answer your questions first, and the meeting lands on your calendar automatically.
